Legend Andy Summers will visit the Rock Hall to give an intimate account of his career with The Police, the Animals and King Crimsons Robert Fripp, and share personal encounters with artists such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and members of The Police. In his new memoir, One Train Later, he details how acclaimed melodies like Every Breath You Take came together, how he came to the join The Police via a chance train ride with Stewart Copeland, and provides an engaging, direct look into the birth and death of The Police. Summers, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Police, will participate in a special Hall of Fame Edition of From Songwriters to Soundmen: The People Behind the Hits program. A book signing of Summers new memoir, One Train Later, will take place immediately following the program.
